Lip Smacking Easy Appetizers

Create a delicious start to any meal with these simple and easy appetizers that are perfect for family dinners and cocktail parties. Prepare beer battered asparagus, shiitake, onion and sundried tomato mini fritattas, tuna and avocado tartare in cucumber cups, edamame hummus with spiced pita chips, tofu and scallion negimaki, mini Mexican hot chocolate shooters, pumpkin seed brittle, frico (parmesan crisps), smoky deviled eggs, and fried mozzarella balls with marinara.
Saigon Kitchen ñ Traditional Vietnamese Cooking

Vietnam has a fascinating history which is reflected in its cuisine. Strong Chinese, Indian, and French influences yield delicate, complex flavors. In this class you'll create authentic dishes with varied textures, vibrant colors and refreshing tastes! Learn to make pho bo (Vietnamese beef noodle soup), salad rolls with tofu, roasted eggplant, steamed fish with ginger-lime sauce, mustard greens with garlic, cucumber salad with tofu, stir-fried chicken with lemongrass and chilies, and sticky coconut rice with mung beans, toasted coconut, and sugar.
Israeli Street Foods
Tuesday, April 20 | 7:00 – 9:30pm
$85 members/$95 non-members
Israel is known for its delicious, quick-pick-up street foods. In this class you'll learn how to make falafel, potato borekas, sabich (fried eggplant, hard-boiled egg and salad sandwiches), sachlav (hot rice beverage), shawarma, schnitzl sandwiches, and Tunisian sandwiches (baguette with tuna, pickled lemon, egg, fried peppers, and more). For dessert, we'll make halvah parfait and enjoy fresh limonana (mint lemonade.)
